About the Workshop
|
This workshop is for people who wish to extend their exploration of relief block printing. Students should have either completed an IMPRESS introductory relief block printing course or completed a course at an institute of higher learning eg TAFE, BIA, University.
Participants will come with a clear idea of what they want to achieve in this workshop. Participants will be encouraged to explore their own direction with the medium. The workshop will begin with an hour long presentation of examples of works that can be produced using the belief block printing process. Techniques used to create those works will be explained and discussed. Students should bring a USB stick to the workshop if they want a copy of the presentation. Very little formal teaching will take place. It is envisaged that the tutor and the participants will work together in consultation on each individual’s project. Wayne will contact participants before each workshop to provide notes, advice and more detailed information of what to bring . |
