1 Day Workshop
10am – 4pm $170 / Members $150 Plus material costs (to be advised) Booking Code: NHPL1016. Maximum number of participants: 10 Book early to avoid disappointment. During the workshop participants will have the opportunity to complete a 2 colour lithograph. A Week before the WorkshopYou need to email Nicola a black and white image you would like to print. The image needs to be of good contrast. It could, for example, be a piece of your artwork, a drawing, a photo or an image with text and so forth. Nicola will get the image copied onto a polyester plate.

Workshop Schedule
Introduction will include examples of Polyester Plate Lithography
Designing Set up and draw registration marks on each of the two plates:
Print 2nd colour plate first
Register and print the 1st colour plate on top of each print. |
LUNCH
Tea and coffee are provided but you need to bring some morning tea and lunch. Workshop participants often choose to eat lunch together in the kitchen. Alternatively, the hotel next door has a good lunch menu. There is also a fish and chip shop down the road. |

About the tutor
Nicola Hooper is a Australian artist based in Logan Queensland who utilises various forms of lithography and drawing to narrate her works. She has previously completed a MAVA and MAVA (hons), and is currently a Doctoral candidate at Queensland College of Art. Her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally and is held in public and private collections.

Safety
Participants are advised to wear closed in shoes, suitable clothing or apron that you do not mind getting ink on. Tie long hair back, wear goggles, masks where appropriate. Follow all instructions given by your tutor during your workshop.
