Make strong and interesting prints without using etching chemicals Drypoint is an intaglio printmaking technique that does not require acid and harsh chemicals. In creating their image, drypoint artists scratch their design into a metal or plastic plate (in this workshop we use plastic) . Drypoint prints often have soft impressions due to their somewhat blurred lines.
