Learn from a versatile and award winning printmaker and curator how to make subtle and complex prints using simple and inexpensive materials, and you will discover how to make collagraph prints and embossed works using cardboard. Also covered will be techniques such as Chine-collé and colour roll. Before the workshop Kay will advise participants on design ideas suitable for collagraph. This workshop is suitable for beginners and those wanting to revise and extend their collagraph techniques. |

Kay is a Brisbane-based visual artist and an Impress member. She works mainly in the field of printmaking and exhibits extensively in Australia as well as internationally. Kay teaches various printmaking techniques in Brisbane and beyond, participates in events and festivals, and curates exhibitions for other artists and organisations.
