During this two day workshop you will ...
Learn from this versatile and award winning printmaker and curator how to make strong interesting prints without using harsh etching chemicals. Drypoint is a low toxic intaglio printmaking process that does not require acid to etch the printing plate. To create an image drypoint artists draw their design onto a metal or plastic plate with a sharp needle. This technique can produce a very appealing print with strong tones and soft lines. Before the workshop Kay will advise participants on design ideas suitable for drypoint. |
