MONOPRINTING
with Angela Gardner

Sunday 10th August 10am-4pm

Impress members $85, non-members $100 including materials

Monoprints are very spontaneous and the closest printmaking method to painting. This is a printing method that produces one-offs rather than editions. The results can be immediate, lyrical and painterly with possibilities for subtle gradations in hue and combinations of mark-making. Students will be introduced to the main techniques of monoprinting – sgraffito, masking, over-rolling, relief impressions and wiping.
