Workshop proposals
In 2017 we have enjoyed a range of workshops led by experienced printmakers who have shared their knowledge and techniques generously.
Help us continue to build an even more vigorous program in 2018. Proposals for day and evening classes as well as weekend workshops will be considered.

- Download the Workshop Proposal Form word doc.
- Consider preferred dates after checking Weekend Workshop Calendar pdf.
- Also consider, offering weekday, morning or afternoon sessions.
- Attach the completed document and 4 or 5 images of your work and email president@impress.org.au, workshops@impress.org.au and treasurer@impress.org.au

Note
Impress works in partnership with each tutor. This means sharing responsibility for publicity - getting the word out through social social networking and other ways of promoting.
Each workshop needs 5 people booked to go ahead. Tutors can limit numbers over 10.

Financial agreement
Impress Printmakers pays tutors a fee of $300 a day, ($150 a half day) for a viable workshop. As a tutor you may choose a higher fee and participants fees will be adjusted accordingly. Tutors are reimbursed for consumables they supply as long as these have first been negotiated with Impress - usually via the proposal form.
Impress Printmakers needs to make a minimum income based on 5 participants plus material costs for a workshops to be viable.

Tutors and membership
To be a tutor you need to be a member of Impress and to been inducted into the studio.http://www.impress.org.au/studio-induction.html (This is for health and safety and insurance purposes.)
Sending an invoice
Tutors send invoices to Impress Printmakers after the tutorial. Invoices include Tutorial fee and amount tutor has spent on materials for the participants. Invoices are sent to treasurer@impress.org.au and workshops@impress.org.au.
