PRAXIS (Peformance and Application of Skills) ADVANCED with Margaret Wilson PRAXIS – "performance and application of skills". This workshop is about practising skills and techniques of printmaking, initially with an emphasis on relief prints from lino blocks.
Printmaking is process-driven – one step followed by another in preparation of blocks or plates, paper, inks, presses, registration, proofing and editioning prints.
Understanding the steps allows enormous freedom to experiment with images and variations of process.
The workshop carries on from the previous day and is designed for those who have already completed a PRAXIS workshop with Margaret.
