STUDIO INDUCTION FOR MEMBER ACCESS CARD

Individual studio use is available only to members and only after the completion of an induction.

 WHEN:  Twice every month on a Wednesday evening and a Saturday morning.
HOW:  Submit the form below to arrange  Induction.  Bookings are essential.  2. Await confirmation.  3. Attend with the exact $10 only in cash as no change is kept on the premises.

THE ACCESS CARD REMAINS AT ALL TIMES THE PROPERTY OF IMPRESS PRINTMAKERS STUDIO AND MUST BE RETURNED TO THE TREASURER

This induction is to provide Members with access to the Studio and Gallery and general procedures of the studio.
It is not an introduction to printmaking techniques.

STANDARD INDUCTIONS: ONE HOUR
A standard induction will cover

• Workshop Health and Safety
• Studio Orientation 
• Basic Equipment Handling.

Any printmaking process which involves the use of specialist chemicals will require an additional Induction or training such as

• Etching processes
• Screenprinting processes such as the use of photo- emulsion
• Lithography

For experienced Printmakers inductions in the use of chemicals for the above mediums will be held by arrangement with a volunteer member familiar with the desired process.
If you are inexperienced or very rusty in the  practice of the above methods of Printmaking - It is recommended that you enrol in a workshop to familiarise or refresh yourself in the technique you wish to explore.

KEEP YOUR ACCESS CARD ON YOU AT ALL TIMES WHILE ON THE PREMISES: If you are accidentally locked out, any calls to the security service who monitor the system will be at the member's expense.
It is recommended that you put it on a lanyard and wear it inside your clothes while operating equipment in the studio.

ACCESS CARDS COST $10
You must return the card to Impress Printmakers Studio if and when membership ceases.
