Born in Toora Victoria, Jennifer moved to Qld in 1989, where she studied Fine Art (majoring in printmaking) at Queensland College of Art (Griffith University). After graduating with honours in 1996, followed up with a Grad Certificate in Higher Education in 2006, and is currently enrolled in the Master of Visual Arts program at QCA. Jennifer works across a variety of media including painting, drawing, and most forms of print media, as well as digital art/design, video, fashion and sometimes ceramics. Jennifer was selected for the Perth Institute of Contemporary Art Post Graduate Exhibition and awarded an Artist-in-Residency at Manila studios in the Philippines in 1997, where she ran numerous workshops in Lithography and screenprinting. This was followed up by an exhibition at the Australian Embassy in Manila and University of Santo Thomas, which subsequently toured other major centres in the Philippines during 2000-1,
Jennifer has taught art in a variety of disciplines since 1998 at QCA and the University of the Sunshine Coast until 2001 (when she left to work in Japan). On her return she was offered a position at QCA in Printmaking at the beginning of 2004, and has worked there since. She is currently the President of Impress Print Studio Brisbane and a member of Griffith University Print Club and regularly exhibits with them. Jennifer also works as a Master Printer and print workshop tutor and consultant. She has works in collections in Manila, Japan, USA, UK, the State Library QLD, Griffith University and numerous private collections throughout Australia.
