AGM's ... as far as meetings go they are the red carpet event for any community organisation but without the teary, spasmodic acceptance speeches, thank goodness. There is the business end of things to be undertaken and then afterward you can relax in the afterglow and enjoy the festivities. This year, things get underway at 11:30am (see below for details). We will be welcoming members in the studio, where you can see all the presses, in situ, inspect the screen-printing room and view ENcounter, an exhibition featuring ten Japanese contemporary printmakers, currently in the Impress Printmakers Gallery. Afterwards, we are all heading next door to the Kedron Hotel for a hearty meal & drinks to toast the new committee whilst we catch up and indulge in a print conversation or two... Members - we don't say it enough, but you are the backbone of the Impress Printmakers community and this was clear last week, when the following people turned up to help install our new gallery hanging system. Big thanks go to Sol Hall, Kristina Hall, Diana Howcroft,Ken Collins, Jennifer Long, Glenda Orr, Nick Oughton & Sue Pickford. So get in quick and secure your exhibition at the curent member rates because now you are able to hang framed art works .(although we still need to purchase more hangers and hooks)

Please read these important documents which protect and support your rights and responsibilities as members of Impress Printmakers Studio and Gallery. Trust me, I have (unwillingly at first) breezed through these documents and found them to be easy to read and digest - so in the end it is worth giving it 10-15 minutes to scroll, read - and make notes, if you wish before coming to the AGM on the 28th. The best part is these documents were sent out to you today to keep you up to date and informed. However, if they haven't; shoot us... an email
Looking forward to seeing you at the AGM / SGM and Thanks from the Impress Management Team Kristina Hall, Ellie Neilsen, Stephen Cronin, Karen Kaese, Tim Mosely, Jude Roberts, Paula Quintela, Peter Penwarn and Sue Pickford.
