Impress Printmakers Studio & Gallery is currently accepting submissions for Across the Ditch
– an exhibition of 38 cm x 28cm works on paper in celebration of the Print Council of Australia’s Year of Print.
A collaboration between Australian and New Zealand Artists
Conditions of Entry 1. Submissions are open to artist members of Impress Printmakers Studio in Australia and .............. in new Zealand who make prints. Work submitted must be print-based (lithograph, etching, screenprint, lino/woodcut, monotype or digital print etc), and must be 28cm x 38cm (either format). Works outside of this dimension will not be eligible. 2. Artists may submit x -x works only. 3. A non-refundable entry fee of $40 applies to members of Impress Printmakers Studio & Gallery. New Zealand Artists contact your organisation. 4. Applicants must have a current email address as all correspondence will be via email. 5. Works can be of any genre, but must have been completed since January 2014 6. There is no limit on edition numbers, works can be unique state. 7. Entries are due 5pm Friday May 6th, EST (Brisbane time). Entries received after this time will not be accepted. 8. The judging panel will view all entries received and make a selection. Entrants will be notified of selection by end of May 2016. 9. Selected work must be delivered unframed to Impress Printmakers Studio and Gallery between 10am and 4pm June 13th, 14th and 15th. All works must arrive in full by this date to be eligible for the second round of judging. Impress Printmakers Studio and Gallery reserve the right not to exhibit a work if, in the opinion of the judges, the work received does not adequately match the images sent during the application process. 10. Work should be unframed, and any specific hanging requirements should be discussed with the gallery coordinator prior to dispatch. 11. Artists will be responsible for the safe transport of work to and from Impress Printmakers Studio and Gallery, and will be responsible for their own insurance during the transit and exhibition period. 12. Impress Printmakers Studio and Gallery will take 20% commission from all sales made during the exhibition period.
