Welcome to Impress Printmakers Gallery
This artist-run gallery space is on the mezzanine level of the Impress Printmakers Studio. It is located 10 minutes north of the CBD of Brisbane in Wooloowin Queensland. Impress Printmakers Gallery opened late February 2014 and since, has presented more than twenty exhibitions to a broad audience. This gallery aims to exhibit thought provoking print-based artworks, drawings and artist books by local, national & international artists. Impress Printmakers Gallery opens Thursday to Sunday 10am – 4pm while an exhibition is showing. Gallery Hours
When there is an Impress Printmakers Studio exhibition, the Gallery is usually open Thursday to Sunday 10am - 4pm.
However gallery hours may vary depending on the resources of independent exhibitors.
The Gallery relies on volunteer sitters to keep it open

Gallery Team
We are looking to develop a large Gallery Team Group who will volunteer to keep the Gallery open consistently in the future as well as gain experience in Gallery and Exhibition Management.

Gallery Program
Our new developing program works on three levels.
1 Members Exhibitions -
Impress Printmakers Studio and Gallery have a commitment to produce a minimum of two exhibitions a year:
1. The Annual Members Exhibition is called Impressions # began with First Impressions in 2005 and in 2018, will be Impressions 12.
2. A second usually themed exhibition or often a collaborative project with another printmaking group, regionally, nationally or internationally.

2 Individual and Group Exhibitions -
Individual and groups of members will hire the gallery from 1 to 4 weeks to exhibit their work.
Individuals will invite friends and people from various connections to join them in their exhibition.
Individuals wishing to exhibit in the gallery can take out a membership, available through the website.
Application and Hire Agreement forms can be found in the drop down list.
3 Exhibitions of Artists Collections -
Artists are often avid collectors of other artist's work. The gallery coordinator works with members who are collectors to present a group of works from their collections in a series of exhibitions entitled - Temporary Custodians
These exhibitions provide an opportunity for the community to see works often not normally available and to see the artist from the point of view of their collection and how they approach collecting.
Any member can approach the Gallery Coordinator to discuss exhibiting works from their collection.
