The Impress studio facilities support a broad range of printmaking processes and art forms including all types of etching, drypoint, screen printing, linogravure, collograph, wood block, wood engraving, monoprinting, lithography, letterpress book making, and a darkroom with screenprinting / solarplate UV exposure units.
Impress also has available for purchase a wide range of materials including inks and papers for intaglio, relief and screen-printing processes.

Personal Printmaking Kit
We recommend that you collect together a basic Printmaking Kit including such items as:
2-3 Old, well-washed, large, light-coloured towels or bath sheets for an efficient and economical way to blot paper
large plastic bags to keep paper damp after blotting and while printing
a box of disposable latex or plastic gloves in your size
a collection of rags for cleaning up after printing
old plastic loyalty cards or small offcuts of mount board for wiping ink onto etching plates
strips of offcut printmakers paper to use as 'paper fingers' when editioning.
A snap-blade cutting knife and long metal ruler
Artist's Folder to carry and protect good printmakers paper and prints to and from the Studio
Any other tools or supplies that you favour and use regularly.
Store together in a bag, box or trolley, always ready to go to and from the Studio
